[10:04] <daniel> Helma source code files have a link to the Helma license. which in general is a good idea, but the link seems to point to an older version of the Helma license at http://adele.helma.org/download/helma/license.txt

[10:28] <daniel> i am not sure anyway if updating this file would be the right choice, because the svn repository might still have older revisions of Helma for which this license file (escpecially the "This prodcut contains" section) is still valid
[10:29] <daniel> i'd guess it would be possible to remove this section at all as it is not part of the license of single source code files

[10:35] <zumbrunn_> yes, in the file headers too, the year should be adjusted whenever the file is touched
[10:37] <daniel> agreed, so the solution is to remove the "This product contains" section from http://adele.helma.org/download/helma/license.txt, update 2006 to 2008 in the license.txt in svn and to add some svn hack that updates the year in the file headers whenever files are updated
